The p365 and lcp max are apples to oranges. The p365 is noticeably larger and almost twice the weight. That makes a huge difference for pocket carry. The lcp max is my suit gun or short errand gun when I don't feel like putting on a heavier iwb pistol. I carry the max about 90% of the timeAccording to Ruger the max frame width is only 0.925 which makes it only 0.155 thicker than the P3AT. I don't consider that much of a difference to actually make a difference. Perhaps smaller stature people may have an issue with a 0.62 difference in height but I didn't find a difference personally in how my LCP carried from my LCP 2 w/7-round mag.Apr 12, 2022 · It looks as if you are considering the 365 .380 too. Same issue, probably far higher quality and more shooteable than the LCP's and Bodyguards. But, like the G42 it will be more of a sub-compact 9mm size. If one isn't looking for a tiny carry gun, then these larger .380's will be better shooters and better range guns.
